Mid South Mortuary Service is privately owned and operated with no corporate overhead to pass on to our clients. Our goal is to serve our community by offering our economical cremation service at one of the lowest prices in the Memphis area. The savings are clearly passed on to the family, not corporate stockholders.

Our Crematory & Important Questions
Because cremation providers offer differing conditions and levels of service, it is important to know:
· Who exactly will perform the cremation?
· Are they certified; is their equipment regularly inspected and maintained?
· Will the cremation be done by the death care provider’s staff or some off-site third party that is contracted to do the work? – which is very common.
Our state-of-the-art cremation facilities are conveniently located within the High Point Funeral Home and Crematorium and/or Mid South Crematory facilities, respectively.
Mid South Mortuary Service is regulated by the State of Tennessee Department of Health, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA). Our Certified Crematory Operators are carefully trained in the science and technology needed to successfully perform cremations while being safe and humane. We adhere to a strict code of ethics to protect your loved one and your family from any emotional strain or pain that would occur if the cremation procedure was misconducted or went awry.
